Sand Hollow State Park
Sand Hollow State Park is located near Hurricane, Utah. It’s 20 minutes from St. George or a 45-minute drive to Zion National Park. This state park has quickly become a favorite recreation space for locals and tourists alike because of its recreation versatility. It boasts more than 1 million visitors per year.
You can: ATV, boat, fish, camp, and everything in between. Enjoy swimming in warm blue water surrounded by stunning red rocks, playing in the sand dunes or relaxing on the expansive sandy beaches.
If you aren’t bringing an ATV with you, you can rent one on-site for the day or multiple days.

Camping at Sand Hollow State Park Sand Hollow offers two campgrounds: Sandpit campground and Westside campground. Sandpit campground (pictured below) is closer to ATV trails. There is a blend of dry campsites, 6 power sites and 5 group sites. All campsites have a picnic table and fire ring. The standard campsites (no hook ups) are $30 a night and have a two vehicle limit per site. Extra fees apply for the second vehicle.
Westside campground (pictured below) has 50 sites with full hook-ups, covered picnic tables, and fire rings. These campsites are $43 a night with a two vehicle limit per site. Extra fees apply for the second vehicle. Both campsites have restrooms and showers which are included in your camping fee.
New for 2023 is Lakeview Campground, located just down the road from Sandpit Campground. Check out our YouTube video for details on those sites.
