What to do at sand hollow state park

Sand Hollow State Park is one of those magical places that has something for everyone. The red sandy beaches are perfect for dry camping right up against the clear blue water. Bring your boat and spend the day cruising around the reservoir. Toss a line overboard for a relaxing day of fishing. There are also several spots near the shore that are great for swimming and cliff jumping. Just don’t forget those life jackets!

This is the perfect campground for ATV and OHV lovers. Sand Pit Campground sits at the base of Sand Mountain, where you can adventure off-road across the red sand dunes. Don’t have an ATV? You can rent them at Sand Hollow Rentals, located inside the park at the south boat ramp.
